The Christina Seix Academy (CSA) is a unique private school in Trenton, NJ, offering full scholarships to local children from disadvantaged families and providing health and wellness services to their families. CSA partnered with us to create a web presence and brand that embodied their spirit and mission.

The Goal

Our primary objectives were to create a new brand and website that reinforced CSA’s mission. We wanted present CSA as a friendly, community-focused, and forward-thinking institution.

Our secondary goal was to streamline their admissions process. While pursuing these goals, we also wanted to make it position CSA in a way that it keeps attracting qualified staff and faculty applicants.

The Approach

We started with a discovery phase to understand CSA’s vision and client feedback, followed by three rounds of design to create a final logo and brand identity. We then developed an extensive brand guide, including the logo, tagline, typeface, and brand colors, with each color representing a unique facet of the school.

For the website redesign, we aimed to fully immerse visitors in CSA’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. We focused on a fresh look that conveyed the school’s message and personality and ensured a responsive design for optimal user experience across devices. We highlighted the academic and family programs as major selling points, and we created an interactive campus map and vibrant imagery to help prospective families envision life at CSA.


The Approach

To drive qualified families to the admission page, we clarified the main criteria for student consideration and provided comprehensive information on the application process. Given the large Hispanic community in Mercer County, we collaborated with a translation company to create a Spanish version of the website, making it more accessible to a diverse audience.

The revitalized brand and website have led to a more organized admissions process and an increase in qualified staff and faculty applicants, helping CSA further its mission to provide exceptional educational opportunities for disadvantaged children in the community.
